This last week has been one of the roughest in our lives. Losing our daughter has been one of the hardest things we have ever had to go through.  No parent should ever have to bury their child.

We have been so overwhelmed with the outpouring of love from our family, friends and our church family.  You have loved us with an unconditional love.  You have felt our pain and took on our sorrow on as your own.  You have loved us, hugged us, cleaned our house, fed us, our dear doctor making a house call, and more than anything, continually prayed for us.  You have encouraged us, gave us hope, wept with us, and just totally loved on us.

Thank you for all of the cards, flowers and plants that were sent.  Many of the flowers went to the cemetery to be placed on Tawny’s grave.  We took the plants and several of the flowers to our home and to Daniel and Ethen’s home.  The rest, we had the leaders in our “Serving Senior’s” ministry take to the residents in the senior living facility where we have church services. We were so blessed by all your flowers and then they were able to bless many lonely souls.  Know that God has used those same tokens of your love, over and over again.

Continue to pray for us and our family.  We will be ok.  God is good and he will use all of this for His glory.  There has been over 3700 views of the funeral service online.  The gospel was shared and it is going places we will never know about.  For us, as the last song at the funeral said, “Through it all, through it all our eyes are on You. Through it all, through it all it is well.  It is well with my soul.”  We still grieve, but “It is well with our souls.”
